A unique opportunity to pay homage to the motherland. A chance to showcase the compositions of our ancestors, to the rest of the world.

Rules:

• 10 mins stage time. Hindustani or Carnatic allowed.
• Shruthi box will be provided.
• Participants have to sing one kriti (in general, varnams, geethams and swarajathis will not be accepted).
• All participants are strongly encouraged to sing one or more of the following: ragam, neraval, kalpana swarams.
• Hindustani Participants have to sing one raga, and it may contain one or two songs. Dhrupads, Khayals and Taranas are allowed. Thumris, Tappas, Bhajans and Ghazals will not be allowed.
• One accompanying percussionist is allowed(Hindustani).
• Carnatic and Hindustani performances will not be judged separately.
• Those with a grade of B high or greater in AIR are not allowed to participate.
• Participants have to perform one kriti (in general, varnams, geethams and swarajathis will not be accepted).
• Depending on the number of participants, there might be a second round. So participants are advised to keep 2 kritis ready. Spot registrations are open. Online registration is not mandatory.
• Judges' decision is final and binding. NO arguements regarding this will be entertained during or after the event.
